DC-Doda Leads In-Depth Review of Education Sector Across 10 Zones
Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh took charge of a thorough assessment of the education sector today, examining all 10 education zones within the district.
During the session, the Chief Education Officer delivered a comprehensive presentation on government-sponsored programs, infrastructure development, schools in aspirational blocks, zone-specific pupil-teacher ratios, and the current status of various initiatives such as Samagra Shiksha. The meeting provided detailed updates on the conditions of girls’ hostels, KGBV schools, ICT labs, Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India, board examinations, and digital initiatives.
It was communicated that the district encompasses 10 education zones, including 2 aspirational blocks, hosting a total of 537 operational schools.
