DODA, November 16 In a noteworthy crackdown on illegal mining in Doda, the District Mineral Officer (DMO), under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh, yesterday successfully made crackdown on illigal mining at two locatios and seized a heavy excavator involved in illegal mining in the Malik Pura area of Sub-division Gandoh.
The operation, conducted in the presence of the Naib Tehsildar and the police party, signifies a decisive step against unauthorized mining activities.In another concerted effort against illegal mining, a joint operation led by District Mineral Officer Shri Sunil Kumar Manhas and the police department resulted in the seizure of a JCB and 100 M.T of illegally crushed material at Diamond Stone Crusher in Tehsil Kahara.
