He specifically praised Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Mallikarjun Kharge for their contributions.

On the other hand, BJP’s Narayanasa Bhandage clinched a win in the Rajya Sabha polls. However, the BJP-JDS candidate Kupendra Reddy faced defeat due to cross-voting by BJP MLA ST Somashekar, who surprisingly supported the Congress. This unexpected turn prompted the Karnataka BJP to consider filing a complaint against Somashekar for cross-voting.
