CMO Doda Conducts Surprise Checks on Health Centers
DODA MARCH 28 In a proactive move to evaluate the adequacy of healthcare staff across the district, particularly in rural and remote areas, Dr. Om Kumar, the Chief Medical Officer of Doda, conducted surprise visits to various health centers of the Medical Block Ghat on March 27, 2024.
During his unannounced inspections, Dr. Om Kumar visited AAM-SC Shangroo and Trown, meticulously inspecting different sections and engaging with both staff and the local community. He sought feedback from the public regarding the quality of medical services provided and addressed any concerns they raised.
Furthermore, the CMO reviewed records and staff attendance, emphasizing the importance of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within and around the hospitals.
Expressing dissatisfaction with instances of negligence among certain employees, Dr. Om Kumar reiterated a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of dereliction of duty, stressing the need for accountability among all healthcare personnel.
He urged the Block Medical Officers (BMOs) to conduct regular visits to peripheral institutions to ensure staff punctuality and the delivery of optimal services to patients.
Additionally, Dr. Om Kumar reminded healthcare staff to uphold the dignity of their profession and prioritize service to humanity. BMOs were specifically instructed to oversee staff punctuality and ensure the provision of excellent services in their respective areas, reaffirming the commitment to quality healthcare delivery in the region.
