Censor Board Requests Modification in Film Title Oru Bharat Sarkar Ulpannam
In a recent development, the Censor Board has requested a modification in the title of Subish Sudhi’s upcoming film ‘Oru Bharat Sarkar Udyaman.’
The board is urging the removal of ‘Bharatham’ from the movie’s name, proposing a change to ‘A Bharata Sarkar Ulpannam.’
The filmmakers are reportedly under pressure to comply with this request, necessitating the replacement of ‘Bharat’ with ‘Sarkar’ in the title. In response, approximately forty thousand posters for the film are being amended.
To navigate this change, the filmmakers are incorporating a paper with the word ‘Bharat’ on the posters.
The Censor Board, which typically refrains from recommending edits in movies, is indicating a willingness to provide a clean certificate upon reviewing the film, contingent on the adjustment to the title.
