
Asia’s Largest Tulip Garden Ready to Welcome Visitors
Srinagar, March 19: This year, the majestic Asia’s Largest Tulip Garden, nestled at the foothills of Zabarwan Hills, is set to dazzle visitors with a breathtaking display of 17 lakh flowers of various varieties. Opening its gates on March 23, the garden promises a vibrant spectacle for nature enthusiasts.
Preparations Underway for a Memorable Experience
In a recent meeting chaired by Divisional Commissioner (Div Com) Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, key stakeholders gathered to ensure a seamless experience for visitors. Attendees included officials from the Directorate of Floriculture, SSP Traffic Srinagar, Joint Commissioner SMC, and representatives from the Tourism department and Srinagar Smart City Limited.
Enhanced Facilities and Maintenance Initiatives
Addressing the gathering, Div Com emphasized the importance of online ticketing and directed the implementation of QR Code scanning facilities for tourists’ convenience. Additionally, he suggested the use of colorful lights to enhance the garden’s visual appeal.Furthermore, the Div Com urged the Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) to conduct rigorous sanitation drives and ensure the availability of separate mobile toilet facilities for both genders.
He also emphasized the need for repairing potholes on roads leading to the garden.Moreover, the department has allocated an additional 4 Kanals of parking space, aiming to ease visitors’ parking woes.In essence, with meticulous planning and concerted efforts, the Asia’s Largest Tulip Garden is poised to offer an unforgettable experience to all who venture into its colorful realm.
