ADGP Jammu Zone Rewards Cyber Crime Unit Officers in Doda
In a powerful display of recognition and appreciation, the Assistant Director General of Police (ADGP) for Jammu Zone, Shri Anand Jain-IPS, showered commendations and rewards upon the officers and officials of the Cyber Crime Investigation Unit in District Police Doda. The commendation ceremony, held at the District Police Office (DPO) Doda, marked a significant moment of acknowledgment for the exemplary service rendered by these dedicated individuals.
Exemplary Dedication Rewarded
During the ceremony presided over by SSP Doda, Shri Javaid Iqbal-JKPS, the ADGP honored seven officers and officials with commendation certificates of class-1st, along with substantial cash rewards. This gesture of recognition was a testament to their unwavering dedication and tireless efforts in combatting cybercrime. Among the recipients were PSI Ankush Nagra, who serves as the In-charge of the Cyber Crime Investigation Unit in Doda, as well as ASI Mushtaq Ahmed, HC Jagdesh Kumar, Sgct.Pardeep Kumar, Sgct. Ashiq Hussain, Ct. Wasim Akram, and SPO Asif Jan Wani.
The commendable achievements of the Cyber Crime Investigation Unit were highlighted, particularly in their successful endeavors to retrieve defrauded amounts totaling Rs. 4,10,220/- across various complaints. Their proficiency and diligence in navigating the complexities of cybercrime investigations led to the recovery of significant sums, thereby safeguarding the interests of the citizens and upholding the integrity of the law enforcement system.
