ADGP Jammu Zone Recognizes Doda District Police Team for Apprehending Online Fraudster

Shri Anand Jain-IPS, ADGP of Jammu Zone, honored the investigation team of District Police Doda for their exceptional efforts in apprehending an online fraudster from Ajmir, Rajasthan. The team was awarded a cash reward of Rs. 5000 each, accompanied by Commendation Certificates, for their significant role in apprehending the fraudster involved in case FIR No. 237/2023, registered at PS Doda.

The accused, a resident of Jhunjhun, Rajasthan, allegedly defrauded a government teacher from Doda, swindling an amount exceeding eleven lakh rupees through online means.

During a ceremony at DPO Doda, SSP Doda, Shri Abdul Qayoom-JKPS, distributed Commendation Certificates to the diligent police team, praising their commendable dedication and professionalism displayed during the investigation. He acknowledged the team’s relentless efforts leading to the arrest of the online fraudster in Ajmir, Rajasthan.

The commendation certificates and cash rewards were conferred upon SI Mohd Shafi, ASI Tilak Raj, ASI Mushtaq Ahmed, and Sgct. Shakeel Ahmed from District Police Doda, acknowledging their outstanding contribution to the successful apprehension.

SSP Doda extended his congratulations to the awarded team, encouraging them to continue their service with even greater dedication and commitment, aiming for further accolades and recognition in their future endeavors.
