ACD Doda Tours Kastigarh and Bhagwah Blocks, Examines Progress of Playground and Other Ongoing Projects
Today, the Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) of Doda, Phulail Singh, conducted a thorough inspection of ongoing projects in Kastigarh and Bhagwah blocks. Emphasizing the need to assess the progress of Rural Development Department (RDD) initiatives, ACD Doda specifically examined the advancement of playgrounds and capital expenditure projects. Additionally, he conducted a comprehensive review of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) scheme, identifying and addressing any existing bottlenecks.
During his visit, ACD Doda engaged with numerous Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) representatives and local residents from the twin blocks. He actively listened to their concerns and promptly instructed departmental officials to address these issues promptly. ACD Doda assured swift resolution of basic demands and pledged to expedite interventions requiring higher-level approval.

Furthermore, ACD Doda urged the locals and PRIs to enroll artisans from their respective Panchayats in the PM Vishwakarma scheme. He encouraged their participation in the upcoming Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, scheduled to take place in the Panchayats soon.
ACD Doda also directed the acceleration of ongoing projects to ensure timely completion in their respective areas.Subsequently, ACD Doda conducted a review meeting with departmental staff, assessing the progress of works and the implementation of the PMAY scheme. He issued a directive for the completion of all sanctioned houses, both new and old, by or before December 31, 2023.
ACD Doda underscored the importance of meeting targets and warned of strict action against those failing to achieve them.ACD Doda briefed the staff about the upcoming Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, urging them to ensure successful events in their respective Panchayats.
