AAP Announces 1000 Monthly Aid for Every Woman in Delhi
Delhi Finance Minister Atishi revealed the ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana’ during her inaugural budget speech, announcing a monthly grant of ₹1,000 for women aged 18 and above starting from the fiscal year 2024-25.
The Kejriwal government aims to provide this financial assistance as part of their commitment to empowering women.
Atishi, while presenting the budget in the Delhi Assembly, outlined a comprehensive plan with a ₹76,000 crore outlay for the financial year 2024-25, emphasizing the government’s dedication to realizing the vision of ‘Ram Rajya’.
