Bus Catches Fire in Madhya Pradesh
A private bus carrying 23 passengers caught fire in Madhya Pradesh’s Vidisha district on Monday.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident. The bus ignited on the Bhopal-Sagar Highway near the Chakk Patni area, approximately 20 kilometers from the district headquarters, around 1 pm.
The driver promptly stopped the bus upon noticing smoke emerging from the rear of the vehicle, allowing all passengers to disembark safely with their belongings.
Firefighters responded to the scene, but the flames ultimately consumed and destroyed the bus. An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the fire.
