
BJP President JP Nadda Accuses Chhattisgarh Government of Corruption Ahead of State Elections
JP Nadda, the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has accused the Chhattisgarh government led by Bhupesh Baghel of corruption and called for a change in leadership. The Chhattisgarh state assembly, comprising 90 members, will undergo elections in two phases on November 7 and 17. Nadda addressed the ‘Booth Vijya Sankalp Abhiyan’ program in the Amlidih area under the Raipur Rural constituency after listening to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio program.
Nadda urged BJP workers to visit every household in their respective polling booths and encourage people to cast their votes in the upcoming state elections. He criticized the Baghel-led government for alleged corruption and inefficiency, highlighting the arrest of a state cadre officer, Saumya Chaurasia, in connection with an alleged coal levy scam. Nadda also pointed out unfulfilled promises related to women’s welfare and alleged irregularities in liquor ban implementation.
Nadda stressed that such a “corrupt” government should not remain in power. He called on party workers to motivate voters, emphasizing the importance of strengthening democracy through active participation.
The upcoming elections in Chhattisgarh are scheduled to be held in two phases, with the first phase covering 20 assembly seats on November 7 and the second phase including 70 seats on November 17.Nadda’s campaign includes addressing public meetings and rallies across various constituencies in Chhattisgarh in an effort to garner support for the BJP and challenge the incumbent government.
