
J-k Govt Constitutes Committe For Preparation of Draft Jan Vishvas Bill Image/Shutterstock
Jammu Kashmir General Administration Department vide Govt Order No.: 596-JK(GAD) of 2025, has constituted a high level committee for the preparation of Draft Jan Vishvas Bill.
The committee would consist of Administrative Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department, Administrative Secretary, ARI & Training Department, Administrative Secretary, Planning Department and Monitoring Department, Administrative Secretary, Law, Parliamentary and Justice, and the senior most Law officers from Jal Shakti, Power, Home/Fire & Emergency, Housing and Urban Development, Forest, Ecology and Environment, Revenue, Industries and Commerce, Labour and Employment, Public Works, Rular Development and Panchayti Raj, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Departments.

The committee would be headed by the Administrative Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department, followed by the other officials as members of the committee.
The point is to make/suggest the legal changes required to be carried out in the legal framework of the department enabling deregulation and reduction in compliance burden in identified priority areas, and the formulation of the draft of proposed bill.
