Celebrities Who Have Made Real Estate Their Smartest Investment
- With more than half of their $450 million net worth invested in real estate, David and Victoria Beckham lead as the celebrities most committed to property investment.
- Drake’s home portfolio takes up over a third of his wealth.
- Leonardo DiCaprio owns 7 homes, more than any other celebrity in the ranking.
David and Victoria Beckham recently made headlines with the $72 million purchase of a waterfront Miami Beach mansion. To identify which stars treat property as a major investment, Otherworld analyzed public property records and verified media reports to estimate the value of their most expensive currently owned homes. These values were then compared against each celebrity’s estimated net worth, using data from Forbes, Celebrity Net Worth, and Bloomberg.
David & Victoria Beckham lead the ranking with 51.89% of their $450 million net worth invested in real estate holdings. Owning five luxury properties, the couple appears to treat real estate as a central part of their financial strategy, not just lifestyle purchases.

Drake is second, allocating 35.76% of his $250 million net worth to his real estate portfolio. His three known homes, valued at $89.4 million, show his tendency to invest personal wealth in large-scale properties.
Jennifer Lopez has committed 26.2% of her $400 million net worth to real estate, which is less than both Drake and the Beckhams, but her portfolio is worth more in total than Drake’s. With four properties totaling $104.8 million, she owns some of the most valuable homes in the top five.
Kanye West is fourth, with 21.06% directed to investments. With $84.2 million in residential holdings, he directs just over a fifth of his $400K net worth into property.
Adele comes in fifth, with her holdings, making up over 17% of her $220 million net worth. She owns five properties totaling $37.65 million, with most located in Beverly Hills, suggesting a tight, stable portfolio.
Leonardo DiCaprio is sixth, investing 13.57% of his $300 million net worth into real estate, spread across seven properties, the highest number of homes among all celebrities in the ranking. His portfolio, valued at $40.72 million, includes eco-conscious retreats in Palm Springs and apartments in New York.
In seventh, Gwyneth Paltrow ties up 12.15% of her net worth in real estate. She owns less properties than DiCaprio, valued at $24.3 million, including her Montecito estate. Her holdings are low in volume but aligned with a selective, design-driven property strategy.
Kylie Jenner’s five homes are valued at $80.1 million, making up 11.28% of her $710 million net worth. That’s a much lower share than any of the celebrities ranked above her, but her total property value exceeds everyone so far, except the Beckhams.
In ninth, Jay-Z and Beyoncé have invested 10.43% of their $3.1 billion net worth in residential property. Their five homes total $323.35 million, the highest value in the top ten, and include properties in Bel-Air and the Hamptons.
In ninth, Jay-Z and Beyoncé have 10.43% of their $3.1 billion net worth in real estate. Their five homes are valued at $323.35 million, which is more than triple Kylie’s total value, and by far the highest raw dollar amount in the ranking.
Kim Kardashian rounds out the top ten, with 9.49% of her $1.7 billion net worth allocated to real estate. Her five homes are valued at $161.3 million, placing her among the top in terms of total property value. Yet, real estate represents a relatively small share of her overall wealth.
A spokesperson from Otherworld commented on the study: “Real estate remains a preferred store of value for many high-net-worth individuals, but the degree to which it features in a celebrity’s financial portfolio varies widely. These patterns offer insight into how public figures manage risk, liquidity, and long-term value across their portfolios”.
