SSP Kishtwar Reviews Security, Leads Plantation Drive in Dachhan

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishtwar, Sh. Abdul Qayoom-JKPS, along with Dy. SP PC Kishtwar, visited Dachhan to assess the current security situation and ensure robust arrangements for maintaining peace in the area. The visit included comprehensive inspections of Police Post (PP) Dangdoro and Police Station (PS) Dachhan.
A notable part of the visit was the plantation drive led by SSP Kishtwar, named “Ek Ped Shaheedon Ke Naam,” aimed at honoring martyrs. He also inspected the newly constructed building of PS Dachhan, emphasizing the importance of enhancing local police infrastructure.
During the visit, SSP Kishtwar hosted a Police-Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Government Higher Secondary School Panjdhara. This meeting was designed to foster stronger ties between the police and the community, with active participation from local citizens and public representatives.
In the meeting, SSP Kishtwar addressed various community concerns, pledging that issues related to police matters would be prioritized, while those related to civil administration would be forwarded to the appropriate departments for swift resolution.
He also advised local youth to steer clear of drug abuse and criminal activities, reaffirming the District Police Kishtwar’s commitment to supporting them.
The community appreciated the initiative and requested similar events in remote areas to further strengthen the bond between the police and the public.
