India’s Voice Gaining Strength Amid Global Challenges: PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during a public rally, highlighted India’s increasing influence on the global stage. He emphasized that the nation’s power and capabilities were recognized internationally, particularly in the recent G20 Summit. PM Modi underscored that his government had made long-pending decisions, including the women’s reservation bill, which had been stagnant for three to four decades.
Chandrayaan-3 and India’s Global Presence
Referring to India’s Chandrayaan-3 mission’s success, PM Modi proudly shared that the mission reached an unexplored part of the moon, a feat unmatched by any other country. He noted that India’s strength was widely acknowledged during the G20 summit, marking a significant shift from the past when despair gripped the nation due to financial scandals involving massive sums of money.
People-Powered Change
PM Modi humbly attributed this transformation not to himself but to the people of India who re-elected him to serve for a second term. He stressed that the credit for India’s increasing global influence belongs to the 140 crore people of the country. When interacting with international dignitaries, PM Modi conveyed that they saw the nation’s 140 crore people in him.
Uttarakhand’s Progress and Development
Addressing the people of Uttarakhand, PM Modi expressed his personal connection and gratitude to the region. He described the people of Uttarakhand as dear family members and revealed how they shared their joys and sorrows with him through letters. He conveyed his belief that the decade ahead belongs to the people of Uttarakhand and reaffirmed his faith in their unique capabilities.
PM Modi criticized previous governments for neglecting the development of border areas and stated that his government’s priority is to uplift these regions. He pointed out that this neglect had led to mass migration from Uttarakhand’s villages, but the situation is gradually improving, and people are returning to their homes.
PM Modi also inaugurated several development projects worth nearly Rs 4,200 crore, emphasizing that these initiatives would boost the Kumaon region’s development. He acknowledged the increasing number of pilgrims arriving for the Char Dham yatra and praised reconstruction projects in Badrinath and Kedarnath, highlighting the benefits of a ropeway link between Kedarnath and Hemkund Sahib for the physically challenged. He urged the people to prepare for an influx of pilgrims and tourists in the near future.
