Fire Engulfs Two Houses and Two Bakeries in Bandipora Overnight

In a devastating incident overnight, two residential homes and two bakery establishments were ravaged by fire in the village of Ashtangoo, located in northern Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
According to an official statement provided to the Kashmir Scroll news agency, a fierce blaze erupted on Tuesday night, consuming properties in its path. The fire left a trail of destruction, claiming two residential houses and two bakery shops.
The individuals affected by the fire have been identified as Ghulam Mohammad Ganai, Mohammad Akbar Ganai, Mohammad Rajab, Mohammad Sultan (sons of Habibullah Ganai), and Billal Ahmad Ganai (son of Mohammad Sultan Ganai).
While the exact cause of the fire remains unknown, authorities have initiated an investigation into the matter. A case has been registered, and efforts are underway to ascertain the circumstances leading to the unfortunate incident.
