Prime Minister Modi Empowers Gujjar Community in J&K

Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to uplifting the Gujjar community in Jammu & Kashmir. He emphasized how past governments exploited them for vote bank politics, while PM Modi prioritized their political representation and provided concrete housing, bringing dignity to their lives.

Hydro Power Projects Transforming Kishtwar Region

Dr. Jitendra Singh outlined the transformative impact of hydro power projects in Kishtwar under PM Modi’s leadership. With major projects like Pakal Dul and Kiru on track, along with the revival of Ratle project, the region is witnessing significant infrastructural development, promising both power supply augmentation and economic opportunities for locals.

KISHTWAR: Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh and BJP Candidate for Udhampur Lok Sabha constituency addressed a massive rally in the remote hilly region of Mughal Maidan, emphasizing PM Modi’s commitment to the upliftment of the Gujjar community in Jammu & Kashmir. Singh highlighted how past governments exploited the community for vote bank interests, leaving them neglected and homeless.

However, under PM Modi’s leadership, the community has been given political representation and concrete housing, transforming their lives.Singh also shed light on the substantial progress in hydro power projects in the region, with major projects like Pakal Dul and Kiru underway. These projects not only promise to address the power shortage in J&K but also provide direct and indirect economic opportunities for locals.

Additionally, Singh emphasized PM Modi’s focus on neglected regions like Kishtwar, ensuring infrastructural development and attention to long-standing demands like the establishment of a Degree college for Paddar.

Furthermore, Singh highlighted the infrastructural developments in the region post-2014, including the installation of mobile towers, construction of toilet complexes, and the implementation of solar plants for regular power supply. He also mentioned the fast-tracked construction of motorable roads, indicating improved connectivity and accessibility for residents.

The event saw the participation of former Minister Sunil Sharma, BJP District President Chuni Lal, Tariq Keen, and other local leaders, underscoring the significance of PM Modi’s developmental agenda in transforming the region.
