    No Significant Weather Activity Expected Till March 27: MeT

    The meteorological department forecasts no significant weather changes until March 27 evening. However, Sunday saw night temperatures in Jammu and Kashmir, including Gulmarg and Pahalgam, rise above sub-zero levels.

    Temperature Deviations

    Srinagar recorded a minimum temperature of 10.2°C, marking a deviation of 5.2°C above normal. Similarly, Qazigund, Pahalgam, Kokernag, Kupwara, and Gulmarg all recorded temperatures above normal levels.

    Jammu registered a minimum of 17.2°C, while Banihal, Batote, and Bhaderwah reported temperatures ranging from 9.0°C to 10.0°C.

    Mainly dry weather is expected for the next 24 hours, with the possibility of very light rain or thunderstorms in higher reaches. No significant weather activity is anticipated until March 27 evening.

    From March 27 evening to March 28, generally cloudy weather with light rain or snow is expected in many places, particularly in higher reaches. From March 29, partly cloudy weather with light rain or snow is forecasted at isolated places, followed by partly to generally cloudy weather with intermittent light rain or snow at a few places from March 30-31.
