Doda Police Bust Massive Illegal Liquor operation In Ranote Area
In a significant crackdown, Doda Police have seized a substantial quantity of illicit liquor in the Ranote area of Gandoh. Acting on specific information about the production of illegal alcohol, a team from Police Station Gandoh, led by Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday, conducted a raid at the residence of Lekh Raj, son of Uda Dass.
Raid Uncovers Illegal Liquor Stash
During the search operation, authorities discovered 10 liters of illicit liquor, approximately 40 liters of Lahan (a traditional fermented drink), and various distillation apparatus. The seizure underscores the persistent efforts of law enforcement to combat illicit activities within the community.
In response to the discovery, case FIR No. 18/2024 has been registered under relevant sections of the excise act at PS Gandoh, initiating a thorough investigation into the matter.
