During the game, Sikandar Raza expressed dissatisfaction with the umpire’s decision on three different occasions. His actions, including raising his arms, shaking his head, and gesturing that the delivery should have been called a wide ball, resulted in a violation of article 2.8 of the PSL code of conduct, which deals with players showing dissent at an umpire’s decision.
The Pakistan Cricket Board released a statement announcing the fine imposed on Sikandar Raza. The statement read, “Lahore Qalandars’ Sikandar Raza has been fined 10 per cent of his match fee for a Level 1 breach of HBL PSL’s code of conduct for showing dissent at an umpire’s decision.” On-field umpires Chris Gaffaney and Rashid Riaz leveled the charge against Raza, and match referee Ali Naqvi imposed the fine.

With some support from Khawaja Nafay, it was a one-man show that saw Gladiators emerge triumphant with a six-wicket win.
