Chemical Tanker Fire Shuts Down Ahmedabad-Mumbai Highway
Fire officer Hardeep Singh reported that a fire brigade team from Valsad district swiftly arrived at the scene, joined by teams from other locations to combat the ongoing fire. Singh disclosed that the incident involved a tanker, and it was discovered that the vehicle contained chemicals. Two additional four-wheelers also ignited in the process, contributing to the escalation.
To manage the situation, Singh stated, “The Ahmedabad-Mumbai National Highway is closed in both directions.” Fortunately, there have been no reported casualties at this time. The incident is currently under investigation, and further details are anticipated as the situation unfolds.
