Dutch Government to Challenge Court Order on F-35 Jet Parts Export to Israel
The Dutch government has announced its intention to appeal a court order directing the cessation of F-35 jet parts export to Israel.
The appeal will be filed at the country’s Supreme Court.
The initial court ruling mandated a halt to exports within seven days, citing concerns that the jet parts were being utilized in violation of international law during Israel’s conflict in Gaza.
The government asserted the critical role of F-35s for Israel’s self-defense against regional threats, specifically mentioning concerns from Iran, Yemen, Syria, and Lebanon.
