The Border Security Force (BSF) successfully recovered a China-made drone, identified as a Quadcopter model DJI Mavic 3 Classic, from a farming field near Chann Kalan village in Amritsar district, Punjab. The vigilant BSF troops intercepted the drone’s movement on the border during the night of February 10, 2024.

    Swift Response and Protocol Followed

Following the protocol, the BSF Quick Response Team (QRT) promptly tracked the drone’s movement, leading to the successful recovery. The recovered drone was found in a partially damaged condition.

    Extensive Search Operation

After intercepting the drone, an extensive search operation was initiated in the potential dropping zone, resulting in the retrieval of the partially damaged drone from a farming field near Chann Kalan village in Amritsar district.

    Continued Vigilance

This incident follows a similar one on February 8, when the BSF shot down another China-made drone near the India-Pakistan International Border in Gurdaspur. The BSF continues to maintain a high level of vigilance to thwart any attempts of unauthorized drone intrusions.
