In the Ladakh region, Leh town faced a bone-chilling minus 16.1 degrees Celsius, while Kargil recorded an even lower temperature of minus 19.8 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.
Meanwhile, in Jammu division, the night’s lowest temperatures were reported as follows: Jammu city at 5.3 degrees Celsius, Katra at 5.8 degrees Celsius, Batote at 3.3 degrees Celsius, Bhaderwah at minus 1.6 degrees Celsius, and Banihal at 2 degrees Celsius.
