Congress leader Rahul Gandhi paid tribute to tribal leader Bhagwan Birsa Munda during the 24th day of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Jharkhand’s Khunti. Khunti: Birthplace of Revolutionary Leader

Rahul Gandhi’s gesture aimed to honor these ideals, considering them a source of strength and inspiration in the resistance against injustice over the last decade.
Jharkhand Floor Test Victory and Tribal Empowerment
Reflecting on the recent victory of the alliance in the Jharkhand Assembly floor test, Rahul Gandhi criticized the BJP, labeling it as “anti-tribal.” He highlighted Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s poignant statement about tribal empowerment, emphasizing that the power of the people, especially the poor and tribals, cannot be subdued by intimidation.
The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, covering over 6,700 kilometers through 110 districts, aims to convey the message of unity and justice. As an ally in the ruling alliance, the Congress, along with the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Rashtriya Janata Dal, celebrates the victory in Jharkhand. The yatra, a follow-up to the Bharat Jodo Yatra, is a hybrid format, covering significant Lok Sabha constituencies and assembly segments, concluding in Mumbai on March 20 after 67 days.
