Truck-Car Collision in Pakistan’s Badin Claims 4 Lives, Injures 2
Tragic incidents involving fatal collisions have resulted in multiple casualties across different regions of Pakistan, reported by ARY News.
In Badin, a collision between a car and a truck along the Badin-Thar highway claimed the lives of four individuals, while two others sustained injuries. Rescue personnel swiftly moved the deceased and injured to the nearest hospital as per police officials’ information.
Another distressing incident occurred in Bahawalpur, where a bus collided with a truck on the national highway, leading to the deaths of at least five individuals and injuring nine others. The collision caused a fire in the truck immediately after the accident.
In Kandhkot, a speeding truck collided with a passenger van, resulting in seven fatalities and multiple injuries. The tragic road crash happened on the National Highway near Karampur, involving a Punjab-bound truck from Karachi and a van heading towards Sukkur from Kandhkot.
These unfortunate accidents are believed to be a result of dense fog, with several road crashes being reported nationwide due to the onset of the winter season, causing reduced visibility on the roads, according to ARY News.
