Khawar Maneka Imran Khan’s Wife Ex-Husband Reveals Shocking Details of Marriage
Khawar Maneka, the former husband of Bushra Bibi, wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, has opened up about the demise of his 28-year-long marriage and the startling revelations surrounding the premier’s third marriage. Speaking on Geo News Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada show, Maneka claimed that Imran Khan destroyed their happy marriage under the pretext of “peer-muridi,” a spiritual guide-follower relationship.
Maneka disclosed that Bushra Bibi remarried Imran just a month and a half after their divorce in November 2017, a fact he and his children were unaware of. Despite media reports exposing the marriage, Maneka initially denied it. The wedding, which occurred in January 2018 during Bushra Bibi’s iddat, was kept under wraps until February 18 to avoid public scrutiny.
Uninvited Visits and Forbidden Meetings
Maneka further alleged that Imran Khan would visit his house without consent, causing distress over his then-wife’s interactions with the PTI chief. Recalling an incident, Maneka claimed to have kicked Imran out with the help of domestic staff. The origins of Imran and Bushra’s relationship trace back to a meeting arranged by Maryam Watto during a PTI protest sit-in in Islamabad.
The ex-husband detailed that Bushra Bibi, given a phone number by Farah Gogi at Imran’s request, would communicate secretly with the PTI chief overnight. Despite residing in Islamabad’s Bani Gala area, Maneka revealed that Bushra Bibi frequently met Imran at his house without his permission.
Manipulated Divorce and Political Pressure
Maneka unveiled the sequence of events leading to their divorce, citing pressure from Farah Gogi and Zulfi Bukhari to alter the divorce date on papers. The manipulation, according to Maneka, was to facilitate Imran Khan’s political ambitions as he aspired to become the prime minister.
