Yatharth Hospital & Trauma Care Services, a prominent name in private healthcare within the Delhi NCR region, saw its stock price soar by 10.75%, reaching ₹414.95. This surge was fueled by the hospital’s robust financial performance in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2024. The company witnessed a substantial 34% year-over-year increase in revenue, hitting the ₹171 crore mark. The hospital’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) also climbed by 36% to ₹45.6 crore, with a notable improvement in EBITDA margin by 40 basis points to 26.6%.
Net Profits and Operational Efficiency on the Rise
In addition to the revenue and EBITDA growth, the hospital’s consolidated net profits escalated dramatically by 70% year-over-year to ₹27.6 crore. This marked improvement was accompanied by an increase in bed occupancy rates to 57% in Q2FY24 from 45% in the same quarter of the previous year. Furthermore, the Average Revenue Per Occupied Bed (ARPOB) also increased by 5% year-over-year, reinforcing the hospital’s financial health.
Strategic Growth and Expansion
Whole Time Director Yatharth Tyagi expressed elation over the hospital’s performance, noting the significant revenue and profit after tax (PAT) increases. The hospital achieved a net debt-free status during the quarter, emphasizing its financial stability.
