    NEW DELHI, October 10, 2026 [VoM News]: As today, the Cockroach Janta Party protested, and its founder Abhijeet Dipke was detained.

    Following the sad news of demise of Abhijeet’s grandmother, social media accounts claimed that delhi police not informed the detained activist.

    Regarding this, the Delhi Police on Saturday issued a clarification rejecting social media claims that detained activist Abhijeet Dipke had not been informed about the death of his grandmother.

    In its statement, Delhi Police maintained that the information was promptly conveyed to Dipke with due sensitivity.

    Police further stated that he was informed about the scheduled funeral time and offered assistance to facilitate his travel to his hometown on humanitarian grounds.

    The police clarification comes amid social media discussions concerning Dipke’s detention and the circumstances surrounding communication with his family.

    However, the statement did not provide further details about whether Dipke accepted the assistance or was able to attend the funeral.
