Young Star Cricket Club Doda Announces Free Cricket Trials Across India

DODA, September 20, 2026 [VoM News]: Young Star Cricket Club Doda has announced plans to organise free cricket trials across India, offering young and aspiring cricketers an opportunity to showcase their talent and compete for a place in the Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship.

According to the club, the nationwide cricket trials will be conducted free of cost across different states. Players selected during the trials will be given opportunities to participate in matches in their respective cities, where their performances will be assessed.

Following the nationwide selection process, the club plans to conduct free cricket trials in every district of Jammu and Kashmir. Selected players will then participate in competitive matches as part of the talent identification process.

The club said players delivering outstanding performances during these matches could earn a direct opportunity to participate in the Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship.

Selected cricketers could also get an opportunity to share the field with IPL and international-level players during the championship, according to the organisers.

The initiative is aimed particularly at talented cricketers who have not yet received opportunities to represent established teams or demonstrate their abilities on larger platforms.

Young Star Cricket Club Doda said selection would be based on performance, with promising players progressing through the trials and competitive matches.

The initiative is being organised under the patronage of Manzoor Ahmad Butt of Young Star Cricket Club Doda.
