9th National Ayurveda Day Celebrated in Doda Highlighting Holistic Health
The District Ayush Office Doda, in collaboration with the District Administration, marked the 9th National Ayurveda Day, also known as Dhanwantri Jayanti, with a vibrant celebration at the Town Hall in Doda. This year’s theme, “Ayurveda for Innovation and Global Health,” underscored Ayurveda’s significance in addressing lifestyle-related ailments and managing chronic diseases.
The event commenced with the inaugural ceremony, led by DC Doda Shri Harvinder Singh, IAS, and SSP Doda Mohd Aslam, IPS, who both emphasized the importance of Ayurveda in promoting health and wellness.
Through various sessions on Ayurveda, yoga, and meditation, attendees were introduced to ancient practices that support a balanced and harmonious lifestyle. These sessions highlighted Ayurveda’s unique approach to preventive healthcare and its potential in enhancing the quality of life for individuals across different age groups.
