    3 Arrested For Aerial Firing at Wedding Function in Jammu’s Gharota

    Three persons have been arrested for having the aerial firing at a wedding function in Gharota area of Jammu.

    Doda Police Arrests Absconder Evading Arrest since 6 Year

    Jammu Police while leveraging the details, stated that Police Station Gharota received an information regarding an incident of aerial firing at a wedding function at the above said location on the intervening night of April 20-21.

    This incident creates the situation of panic in the area and also poses a threat to public safety. As the video of this incident went viral on the social media, the police took cognizance of the issue and registered an FIR under relevant sections of law. As the act was reckless, the police initiated the action against this act, under the supervision of SHO Gharota. A team was constituted which used logistics, human intelligence and technical surveillance and successfully nabbed three persons persons involved in the crime.

    These three have been identified as Mohan Singh, son of Bua Ditta, a resident of Marjali, Santokh Singh, Son of Late Sandoor Singh, a resident of Rati Chappri Barn, and Bahadur Singh, Son of
    chain Singh, a resident of Bomal, Akhnoor.

    The above three persons fired multiple rounds from a pistol and revolver, which have been seized from the possession of the accused.

    The police have warned of strict action against those involving in such acts, creating law and order situation in the area, violating the public
    Safety.
