Vivo enthusiasts in India are eagerly anticipating the arrival of the much-anticipated Vivo V30 series, consisting of the base Vivo V30 and the high-end Vivo V30 Pro. Following its global debut in February, the Indian variant of the Vivo V30 is poised to maintain similar specifications to its global counterpart. Notably, the Pro model is slated to be officially unveiled in Thailand on February 28. The recent revelation of the India launch date has only intensified the excitement among Indian smartphone aficionados.

Vivo has officially announced that the Vivo V30 series will be unveiled in India on March 7 at 12 pm IST. The launch event will mark the introduction of the Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro to the Indian market. A dedicated microsite for the phones on Flipkart has already gone live, confirming the availability of the devices on the popular e-commerce platform. The company has also disclosed that the handsets will be offered in three captivating color options: Andaman Blue, Classic Black, and Peacock Green.

The smartphone boasts a triple rear camera unit, featuring OIS-supported portrait cameras and Vivo’s distinctive Aura Light feature—a square LED flash unit strategically positioned on the back panel. Leveraging Zeiss-backed cameras, the device promises an enhanced photography experience, setting it apart in the competitive smartphone landscape.

The global variant of the Vivo V30 is equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, a robust 5,000mAh battery supporting 80W fast charging, and a visually impressive 6.78-inch 120Hz full-HD AMOLED display. Camera enthusiasts will appreciate the 50-megapixel primary OV50E sensor with OIS and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, complemented by an Aura Light unit. Notably, the front camera is no slouch either, featuring a 50-megapixel sensor.
Meanwhile, speculation surrounds the Vivo V30 Pro, anticipated to be a rebranded version of the Vivo S18 Pro introduced in China in December 2023. The device is expected to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, run on Android 14-based FuntouchOS 14, and include a 6.78-inch 120Hz full-HD+ AMOLED screen. With a potential IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, the Vivo V30 Pro could set new standards for premium smartphones. The handset is projected to house a 5,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support, promising a seamless and powerful user experience.
