The Government of India has recently announced several significant appointments within the Indian Navy, including the promotion of Vice Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi to the esteemed role of Vice Chief of the Naval Staff. Additionally, Vice Admiral Srinivas Vennam, serving as the Inspector General Nuclear Safety, has been appointed as the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Naval Command.
