The upcoming 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, set for January 10-12, 2024, gears up to position Gujarat as a global hub for trade and industry. Spearheaded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi since its inception in 2003, the summit anticipates the participation of esteemed heads of states and dignitaries from across the globe.

Under the guidance of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, a meticulously planned strategy for the summit was crafted during a high-level meeting. Notable figures such as Finance Minister Kanubhai Desai, Health and Technical Education Minister Rishikeshbhai Patel, and Industries Minister Balwantsinh Rajput collaborated in orchestrating this monumental event.

The summit’s central theme, ‘Industry 4.0’, will underscore the Industrial Revolution, Technology, and Innovation as catalysts for inclusive growth and sustainability. To kickstart proceedings, a global trade show will showcase disruptive technologies, technological advancements, and thriving service sectors.

An array of activities including reverse buyer-seller meets, vendor development initiatives, and seminars spotlighting startups, MSMEs, and women entrepreneurs are slated during the trade show. The government is committed to bolstering public involvement in this grand exhibition.

The event’s comprehensive agenda encompasses seminars, conferences, and one-on-one meetings spanning three days. Topics range from industry revolutions to aircraft manufacturing, renewable energy, and investments in emerging sectors like Textile Park, Medical Devices Park, Pharma Park, and Toy Park in Gujarat.

Ahead of the summit, pre-events garnered substantial engagement, with registrations from over 72,500 individuals and businesses across 72 countries. Government officials conducted international visits, productive meetings, and road shows, amplifying interest in the forthcoming summit.

Efforts to encourage district participation resulted in over 2600 MoUs across 33 districts, signaling potential investments of ₹45,000 crores and employment prospects for over two lakh individuals.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel directed the seamless execution of Vibrant Gujarat 2024, overseeing logistics, infrastructure, and accommodation for visiting dignitaries. Top government officials, including Chief Secretary Rajkumar and Chief Minister’s Chief Secretary Kailasanathan, contributed significantly to the summit’s comprehensive planning system.
