Union Health Minister Inaugurates Health Facilities Across AIIMS Campuses

Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, inaugurated 24 health facilities across AIIMS Bilaspur, Rishikesh, Gorakhpur, Nagpur, Bhubaneshwar, and Deoghar.

Additionally, he laid the foundation stone for 68 health services for AIIMS Jodhpur. The projects, funded under the Prime Minister’s Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission, include sub-health centers, Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, hospitals, Jan Aushadhi centers, and more. Dr Mandaviya emphasized the importance of critical care services and highlighted the expansion of medical education and health facilities, aligning with the vision of Ayushman Bharat.

Recognition of Meritorious Students at AIIMS Jodhpur Convocation

During the 4th convocation at AIIMS Jodhpur, Dr Mandaviya awarded gold medals to meritorious students and distributed degrees to those completing medical, nursing undergraduate, postgraduate, and super specialty courses. Reiterating Prime Minister Modi’s vision of Ayushman Bharat, Dr Mandaviya commended the growth in health facilities, including the establishment of new AIIMS institutes and Ayushman Aarogya Mandirs. He emphasized India’s use of digital mediums like eSanjeevni and Tele-MANAS for health services, ensuring connectivity and consultancy.

Leadership Applauds Health Initiatives and Transformation in India

Leadership figures like Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat praised the proactive approach to health initiatives, recognizing the impact on accessibility and availability of healthcare services. They highlighted the meaningful global impact of the transformation taking place in India’s medical and health infrastructure. The event was attended by government officials, executives, faculty, and graduating students of AIIMS, showcasing the commitment to strengthening healthcare capacities.
