Underage Driving in Kashmir, Tragic accident kills 2 teenagers, several injured

The underage driving keeps going on kashmir and will take several lives, if not tackled/curved. Two teenagers were killed and many got injured, after a car struck into a truck, before the divider in the road on Srinagar-Baramulla Highway Near Tengpora.

As per details available, the teenager were driving an SUV, on Srinagar-Baramulla Highway, as the car got rammed into a stationery truck, resulting into two deaths. The deceased were identified as 17 years old Hamaad & Aseem Sofi.

All in Shock !

This incident has left everyone in a shock state of mind, as these underage driving could claim further Lives. Chief Minister of Union Territory, Jammu Kashmir Omar Abdullah express grief over the loss of lives. Chief Minister took to microbloggig platform X, reads as below:

What Police Says on the Matter ?

Muzaffar Shah, Senior Superintendent of Police stated the CCTV footage clearly shows the over speeding act, and appeals parents to not gave any access to their children. He raises the questions, on how parents allowed the children to drive. He further stated, as police is continuing seizing the vehicles, and also councelling, but now, we seek the help & cooperation of parents and society. He also questions schools, which are allowing minors to come to schools in two or four wheelers. He urged for the cooperation of parents, schools, society etc.

How Society Further Reacted ?

Social media users, pushes for harsh strictness, on underage driving and demanded action against parents also, who allows their kids/minors to drive, and demanded the accountability.
