UAE President Joins Vibrant Gujarat Summit in Ahmedabad
UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Ahmedabad for the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcoming him at the airport. The two leaders are scheduled to hold a roadshow in the city. The arrival of the UAE President was marked with a ceremonial guard of honour, with various dignitaries including Gujarat’s Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, and others in attendance.
Several world leaders, including Timor Leste President Jose Ramos-Horta, are also participating in the Vibrant Gujarat Summit. PM Modi, who arrived earlier, expressed delight in hosting world leaders and emphasized the significance of the summit’s contributions to Gujarat’s development and growth opportunities.
The Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, initiated in 2003 under Modi’s leadership as the Chief Minister of the state, is now in its tenth edition, held from January 10-12 in Gandhinagar. This year’s summit has 34 partner countries and 16 partner organizations. Additionally, the Ministry of Development of the North-Eastern Region will leverage this platform to showcase investment prospects in the North-Eastern regions.
The Summit features seminars and conferences focusing on globally relevant subjects like Industry 4.0, Technology and Innovation, Sustainable Manufacturing, Green Hydrogen, Electric Mobility, Renewable Energy, and Transition towards Sustainability. Furthermore, the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show presents products made using advanced technology, highlighting sectors such as E-mobility, Start-ups, MSMEs, Blue Economy, Green Energy, and Smart Infrastructure.
