Tragic Bus Accident in Nainital District Claims Six Lives, Injures 27
In a tragic incident, a bus carrying tourists from Haryana’s Hisar district met with a devastating accident in the Kaladhungi area of Nainital district, resulting in the loss of six lives and leaving 27 others injured. The ill-fated bus was returning from a trip to Nainital when it veered off the road and plunged into a 100-meter-deep gorge in the Nalni area of Kaladhungi. The accident occurred around 8 pm, as reported by the Nainital District Control Room.
At the time of the accident, there were 33 passengers on board the bus. In response to the emergency, local police and teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) swiftly arrived at the scene to initiate rescue and relief operations.
The injured passengers were carefully extricated from the ditch and subsequently transported to the hospital for medical treatment. Authorities are in the process of identifying the casualties and providing necessary support to the affected individuals and their families.
The exact cause of the accident remains unknown at this point, and investigations will be conducted to ascertain the circumstances that led to this tragic incident. Our thoughts and condolences go out to the victims and their families during this difficult time.
