Counting Begins for By-Elections Across Six States and J&K
Counting for by-elections in eight assembly constituencies across six states and Jammu & Kashmir began at 8 am today, with results expected to roll in through the day. Several of the seats are witnessing close fights, setting the stage for a tense counting process.
Voters in Budgam and Nagrota (Jammu and Kashmir), Anta (Rajasthan), Ghatsila (Jharkhand), Jubilee Hills (Telangana), Tarn Taran (Punjab), Dampa (Mizoram), and Nuapada (Odisha) cast their ballots on November 11.
All eight results will be declared alongside the outcome of the Bihar Assembly elections, adding to a politically charged day of counting nationwide.
