Traffic Police Jammu Issues Advisory for New Year Celebrations
The Traffic Police in Jammu has issued an advisory for the general public planning to attend New Year’s parties at hotels and other venues. They urge attendees to use designated parking spaces instead of resorting to random or roadside parking to prevent unnecessary traffic congestion.
Revelers are encouraged to park their vehicles only at nearby or specified parking areas. Parking on roadsides is strongly discouraged due to the congestion and traffic jams it often causes, disrupting the smooth flow of vehicles.
Furthermore, the advisory highlights strict actions that will be taken against various traffic violations during the celebrations. Measures will be implemented against drunken driving, over speeding, stunt biking, reckless driving, and any other dangerous driving practices. The enforcement of these regulations aims to ensure the safety and security of all individuals during the New Year festivities.
