Top Civil, Military Brass of Pakistan to Meet Today Over India’s Move: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif
As Indian authorities took five key steps in response to the Pahalgam terror attack, Pakistan’s top civilian and military leadership is set to meet today.
Pakistan’s Defence Minister, Khawaja Asif, stated last night that an appropriate response would be formulated to India’s actions, including the suspension of the Indus Water Treaty and the downgrading of diplomatic ties.
India’s highest national security committee took these punitive measures in response to Pakistan’s state-sponsored terrorism. These include suspending the decades-old treaty, reducing diplomatic staff strength, and expelling military attachés.
