Three-Member Mobile Stealing Gang Arrested in Srinagar’s SMHS Hospital

    Jammu and Kashmir Police have successfully apprehended a three-member gang involved in mobile phone theft, recovering multiple stolen mobile phones in Srinagar, as confirmed by the police.

    According to authorities, this criminal gang had been active within the premises of Shri Maharaja Hari Singh (SMHS) Hospital in Srinagar. The arrests were made late on Saturday.

    A total of 11 stolen mobile phones have been retrieved from the suspects, marking a significant breakthrough in curbing mobile theft in the area.

    The arrested individuals have been identified as follows: Muneeb Jan, a resident of Sekidafar Safakadal; Mohiudin Hakeem from Chai Dub Safakadal; and Mohammad Irfan Pampori of Safakadal.

    In response to their criminal activities, a case has been registered against the trio under the relevant sections of the law at a local police station. This successful operation represents a commendable effort by the Jammu and Kashmir Police in maintaining law and order in the region.

    The police department released a statement confirming the arrests and the recovery of 11 stolen mobile phones, emphasizing their commitment to addressing criminal activities in the area.
