
Sub Divisional Administration Paddar Hosts Grand Dangal at Traditional Fair/Zagru, Gulab Garh

In a celebration of tradition and community spirit, the Sub Divisional Administration Paddar orchestrated a magnificent display of Dangal/Traditional Wrestling during the annual fair known as Zagru at Gulab Garh.
Under the astute direction and guidance of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr Devansh Yadav IAS, and the close supervision of SDM Arun Kumar Badyal, the Dangal/Traditional Wrestling event unfolded as a vibrant and integral part of the local fair organized by the residents of Gulabgarh Paddar.
The Dangal witnessed enthusiastic participation from accomplished Pehlawans hailing from various parts of the Union Territory, notably from Pathan koot,Sambha and Kathua, contributing to the cultural richness of the event and entertaining the gathered audience.

An impressive turnout of approximately 6000 people from both the local and adjoining areas added to the festive atmosphere of the Mela besides foreign Tourists from Netherland and Switzerland also join the Festivities and enjoyed the Thrill of Dangal Traditional Wrestling.
The event served as a testament to the enduring spirit of community engagement and cultural celebration that defines Zagru at Gulab Garh.
