SIA seizes Assets of Declared Offender in Sopore

The State Investigation Agency (SIA) declared on Thursday the attachment of assets belonging to a declared offender in Amarghar, Sopore, situated in the Baramulla district of northern Kashmir.

According to an official statement, the SIA has seized the property registered under the name of Abdul Rashid Mir, son of Mohammad Sultan Mir, in Amargrah. The confiscated assets include 5 kanals of immovable land, and this action is part of the ongoing legal proceedings related to FIR No 19/2022. The charges include sections 13, 17, 18, 39, 40 of UAPA, 120-B, 121, 121-A of IPC, and 8/21, 8/27-B, 29 of the NDPS Act. These charges were registered at the Police Station SIA Kashmir.
