
Sher-E-Gundna title honoured to Renowned Journalist Sulinder Parihar Sarazi
In a proud and historic moment for the region, renowned journalist and social figure Sulinder Parihar Sarazi was conferred with the honorary title “Sher-e-Gundna” by the Horse Riding Committee Godhyan Dhar during a vibrant event held at the picturesque meadows of Godhyan Dhar, Tehsil Gundna, District Doda.
The honour was presented in the esteemed presence of Dr. Hamid Parray Gundna along with several dignitaries, prominent local leaders, and hundreds of citizens who gathered from across the region.
People from various villages including Gundna, Malwana Jagir, Kundal, Gadther, Punyalla, Tander, Hella Dhar, Ablimasri, Tantna, and Donli graced the occasion with great enthusiasm, reflecting unity and cultural pride. The event also showcased traditional sports such as horse riding and Kabaddi, celebrating the rich heritage and spirit of Chenab Valley.
Speaking on the occasion, Sulinder Parihar Sarazi expressed deep gratitude and dedicated the honour to the people of Gundna region. He reaffirmed his commitment to raise the voices of the rural communities and promote their culture, identity, and rights through his journalistic work and media platform.
