BienRaíz Launches Vitamin D3 and K2 Supplement to Support Bone and Heart Health
New York, Apr 4: BienRaíz has announced the launch of its new dietary supplement combining vitamin D3 and vitamin K2, aiming to improve calcium absorption and support both bone and cardiovascular health.
The product, BienRaíz D3 + K2, comes as growing research highlights the importance of pairing the two nutrients rather than taking vitamin D alone.

Studies, including data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, suggest that vitamin D deficiency affects over 40 percent of adults in the United States. The numbers are even higher among certain populations, reaching up to 70 to 80 percent.
Health experts say vitamin D3 helps the body absorb calcium, but without sufficient vitamin K2, the calcium may not be properly directed to bones. Instead, it can accumulate in arteries over time, potentially increasing cardiovascular risk.
“Vitamin D3 boosts calcium levels in the bloodstream, while K2 ensures that calcium is deposited where it’s needed, primarily in bones,” the company said while explaining the science behind the formulation.
The new supplement includes 5,000 IU of vitamin D3 along with MK-7, a bioavailable form of vitamin K2 derived from fermented sources. The formulation is lipid-based, which helps improve absorption when taken with meals.

According to the company, the product is designed for individuals with limited sun exposure, older adults, and those concerned about bone density, immunity, or heart health.
Experts generally recommend daily intake of 1,000 to 5,000 IU of vitamin D3, depending on individual needs, along with 90 to 120 micrograms of vitamin K2. Supplements are typically advised to be taken with meals containing fat for better absorption.
The company said the product is now available through major online platforms, including Amazon, as well as its official website.
With interest in preventive health and nutrition on the rise, supplements combining vitamin D3 and K2 are gaining traction as part of daily wellness routines.
