Severe Cold Wave Expected in Delhi on 13 January, Conditions in North India Remain Chilly
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted a severe cold wave in Delhi on 13 January, reducing to a cold wave on 14 January. Severe cold wave conditions are expected to persist in Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh till 14 January, with the IMD issuing an orange alert for North India. Delhi experienced a low temperature of 10°C on Saturday, and the IMD predicts a maximum of 19°C and a minimum of 5°C for the day. Flight operations at the Indira Gandhi International Airport were affected due to delays. Trains, including the Mumbai CSMT-Amritsar Express, faced delays, impacting travel in the region.
