
SAARC Journalist Forum Registers Strong Protest against Pahalgam Barbaric Act
SAARC Journalist Forum – an organization which works for the protection of human rights, peace, democracy and contribute with the efforts to end our the conflicts between South Asian Countries, had registered a strong protest and highly condemned the barbaric act of terrorism in Pahalgam tourist destiny of Kashmir.
In a press release issued, the body has extended the condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families of the innocent tourists who lost their lives during this barbaric act of terrorism.It has also stated the organisation tend to end the conflicts with the south Asian countries, by organising the international conferences and seminar etc.This act of barbarism has claimed the lives of 28 people so far, whereas india has vowed to retiliate.
Though, diplomatically, india has snubbed the diplomatic relations with Pakistan, by taking few important steps.India has pauses the cooperation on the Indus Water Treaty with Pakistan, Integrated Check Post at Attari to be closed immediately; those who have crossed over must return before the 1st of May.
SAARC Visas for Pakistan nationals include those previously issued stand cancelled and Pak nationals have been called to leave India in 48 hours.
Whereas, Pakistani Military, Naval and Air Advisors & their staff declared persona non grata and have to leave in 7 days, and the Defence advisors at the Indian embassy in Pakistan to be called back. The diplomatic strength of Pak High Commission would be now reduced from 55 to 30 officials.
